have a peek at these guys HAT: I made it! Similar styles available on Etsy.  //  http://amandaaz.com/41411-serevent-inhaler-price.html NECKLACE: Forever 21  //  TOP: H&M – similar  //  PANTS: J.Crew Factory  //  FLATS: Report  //  PURSE: T.J. Maxx – similar

Today I am wearing an easy, comfy outfit. I think this watermelon hat is so cute. I saw a similar one about a month or two ago and decided that I could probably make it myself. I kind of guessed on dimensions and just started knitting. It didn’t take too long to finish and was fun to try something new. If you are not up for getting crafty, there are a bunch of options on Etsy. Just be sure to look at the size of the hat to make sure you are ordering an adult size.

It is only logical to pair a quirky hat with a fun shirt!  I slightly obsess over dogs (especially French Bulldogs) because I am allergic to them and can’t have one.  Not to mention that he is wearing a bandana around his neck – it just does not get any cuter. 🙂 I bought the T-shirt a size bigger so that I would be able to wear it on casual days.

The Gigi pants I am wearing are made of a super thick and stretchy fabric. I love to wear them on rainy days and when I need a quick outfit. I do not own a pair of leggings because I don’t think they suffice as pants, but these are the perfect (and better) alternative to leggings. Try them! You will thank me.

Have a great week!

Hi everyone!

I apologize for the hiatus from writing. School has been insanely busy and I’ve been doing a little bit on travel on the weekends, so thank you for being patient with me! I am so glad the weather is finally deciding to warm up. I was about to buy a one-way ticket south.

This skirt is one of my favorite purchases for spring. I love that the skirt is made with a ton of fabric, so that it allows movement. It floats around with each step I take. The enlarged bohemian print is different from most maxis that use tiny prints to minimize attention and something that makes this skirt special. It stuck out to me instantly, and multiple strangers complimented it (both male and female!)

I paired the skirt with a plain black camisole top, which made for a very easy outfit. I thought with the colorful printed skirt that I did not need to overdo the top, and this tank was perfect. I added some glittery sandals along with the necklace from my Beer & Lemon Highlights post and the purse I wore in my Shades of Blue post.

I will be making a tutorial for the bohemian 5-strand braids I am wearing. They are so easy to recreate! For makeup, I kept it simple with a swipe of bronzer below the cheekbone and dab of mascara.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for stopping in!

xx Heather
